 LET US PRAY...
So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then
when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze
snake, they lived. Numbers 21:9 NCT PRAYER
TO GOD: Father, thank you for your grace and your power, freely given yet so costly. We praise you that your glory is made known in and through redemption. May we live for the ‘praise of your glory’ (Ephesians 1:6).
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, thank you that we are commissioned to share such good news, knowing that when Jesus is lifted up in truth and righteousness he will draw sinners to himself.
FOR THE WORLD: We pray for the deprived people of the world, deprived of necessities, deprived of freedom, deprived of dignity. Have mercy Lord – may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
FOR OUR NATION: Father, we pray for broken families, especially families struggling without help; remembering especially those children in the care system needing loving, godly, parental care.
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, as we bring named friends before you, may your amazing grace touch hearts, minds and bodies for your glory.
FOR MYSELF: Father, may I fix my eyes upon Jesus, ‘who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God’ (Hebrews 12:2). Hallelujah! Amen.

Then the Lord said to him, “This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob when I said, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it.”

5And Moses the servant of the Lord died there in Moab, as the Lord had said. 6 He buried him in Moab, in the valley opposite Beth Peor, but to this day no-one knows
10 Since then, no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, 11 who did all those signs and wonders the Lord sent him to do in Egypt – to Pharaoh and to all his officials and to his whole land. 12 For no-one has ever shown the mighty power or performed the awesome deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.
