PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.“ Hebrews 11:1
TO GOD: Father, thank you for your life-giving word which ‘is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path’ (Psalm 119:105).
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, we align ourselves with your disciples in asking, “Lord, increase our faith.” (Luke 17:5).
FOR THE WORLD: We pray for prisons and prisoners throughout the world. Many minds have been corrupted by circumstance and sin, Father renew their hearts and minds through faith in Christ.
FOR OUR NATION: We live in a culture of half-truth, unreality and character assassination, help us to resist this tide of evil.
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, forgive me when I have doubted your ability to ‘do the impossible’. May I see those closest to me through eyes of faith and a voice of prayer.
FOR MYSELF: Lord God, may I find delight in knowing and having faith in your word for the glory of your Name.
