PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7
TO GOD: Father, thank you that your very essence is to be known. Thank you that I honour you by seeking revelation through the Holy Spirit and in studying your word.
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, may your church, the Body of Christ, abound in the knowledge that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:39).
FOR THE WORLD: Father, you have saved us to be salt and light. May your church grow in knowledge and understanding, evidenced in acts of unmerited kindness.
FOR OUR NATION: Father, may your people declare and live out the good news of Jesus in the streets, towns and cities of our nation.
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, I pray for friends who are struggling with mental health issues. Show me how I can get alongside someone today to dispel their loneliness.
FOR MYSELF: Father, may I seek to walk in paths of righteousness for the honour of your holy Name. Amen.
PRAYER
We pray the Standing Firm event on 1st March will help young people to stand strong in these days. In Jesus name.

STANDING FIRM With Michelle Enoch
Saturday 1st March, 10.15am – 2.15pm
Younger people need our prayers and wisdom to help them withstand the circumstances they are facing. How do we raise up children and youth who will stand in this generation? As we come together, we come to lean on Christ Jesus our Chief Cornerstone and to stand in prayer and strategy as a church community and family.
Whether you are a parent, grandparent, teacher or youth leader! We hope this event will be an encouragement to you, as you seek to help young people around you.
Michelle’s daughter Karen Sion will sing some of her own written worship songs.
