PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
I want to know Christ – yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death... Philippians 3:10
TO GOD: Father, I rejoice that we can know you through your Son who is ‘the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of your being’ (Hebrews 1:3).
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, may we desire to know Christ and by knowing him may we be changed into his likeness (2 Corinthians 3:18).
FOR THE WORLD: May those suffering through war, tragedy, famine and climate change receive the help they need to rebuild their lives, and as a result know Christ’s participation in their sufferings.
FOR OUR NATION: May the church arise in resurrection power to minister with Christ’s grace and compassion to the poor, marginalised and the broken-hearted.
FOR OUR FRIENDS: May those closest to us recognise that we have been with Jesus (Acts 4:13) and see a response to his radical gospel.
FOR MYSELF: Father, may my prayer echo Paul’s prayer: ‘I want to know Christ...’ Amen.

LADIES’ DAY With Anne Calver
Thursday 29th February AT MULBERRY HOUSE
Anne will be seeking the Lord for His heart and word for his children in this hour and how with the help of Holy Spirit we might respond, so final details of what the Lord will give Anne to say will be confirmed! Anne says “I feel called to see the Church awaken and burn for Jesus that we would become a mighty army on fire for Him.” Join us for an encouraging day!
Anne is a leader, author and speaker. She is pioneering ‘Unleashed'; primarily a movement of family seeking to be like the Acts Church, moving with the Spirit to rescue and release many to be true disciples; who make disciples through new expressions of ministry. Married to Gavin (CEO of the Evangelical Alliance), they have two children; Amelie and Daniel.
Tea/coffee from 9.45am for 10.15am start to 2.15pm approx, including a 2 course lunch. Stay on after lunch for discussion and prayer if you can! £22.50.
