Do our enrolled customers continue to pay premiums while they collect benefits?
The Utility Bill Pay premiums will continue to appear on the enrolled customer’s monthly bill, but may be covered by the bene t payments they receive for a covered loss.
Who handles the claims?
Claims are handled by National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa. Your enrolled customers can submit their claim to:

Once a claim is approved, how does the plan work?
Upon approval of your enrolled customer’s or enrolled spouse’s claim, National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa. remits payment for the enrolled customer’s monthly bill for all covered losses up to the maximum amount directly to you for up to six months.
Can our enrolled customers cancel the Utility Bill Pay Plan insurance protection?
Yes. Your customers may cancel at any time by contacting our customer service department. If your customer cancels within the rst 30 days, they will receive a full refund of any premiums paid within the 30-day review period.
What happens if our customer doesn’t pay their utility bill in full and on time?
If your enrolled customer ceases to pay their utility bill in full and on time, the Utility Bill Pay premium may also become unpaid and, if so, National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa. has a right to cancel the coverage pursuant to the terms and conditions of the policy.
If your customer does not pay their utility bill in full and on time, they will not be eligible to enroll in this Utility Bill Pay Plan.
If a customer switches to another utility provider, is their coverage transferable to the new provider?
No.
Who underwrites the Utility Bill Pay Plan?

How can we cancel the policy?
You may cancel the policy by giving 30 day advance written notice to National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa. In addition, the policy can also be canceled at any time upon mutual written consent of both you and National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa.
