PLURAL NOUNS

We form the plural of nouns by Nouns ending in-F / -EF
adding –S to the singular: change to –VES to form
the plural:
Clock – clocks Student - students
Wolf –wolves

Knife - knives

Nouns ending in –S, -SS, - Nouns ending in
S,-X, -CH or –SH add – CONSONANT + Y
ES to form the plural: also add –ES:

Bus – buses Lady – ladies

Dish – dishes Family - families
