Susan Banks our dear friend and neighbour picked us up at 7.30am to transport us to Coffs
Airport. We can't wait to start this 26day adventure. In Sydney we dropped the bags off at T1,
took a train to Dixon St for yum cha lunch. On this rainy day, we took the light rail and ferry from
Circular Quay to Manly & returned back to Mascot around 4pm. Jan Shanley, our travel
companion from Newcastle joined us at the airport around 5.30 pm. We’ve booked this trip 9
months ago and today we departed Sydney for Istanbul, Turkey! Flying with Qatar for the first
time.
