EVENTS AND SHOWS
The Club has already got bookings for representation at some shows in 2017, more information will follow in future issues as to how you can get involved.
Below is a list of some shows coming up in recent months and some basic details of shows that the club will be attending.
29th January – Telford – The International Centre
Organised by the same team who bring you Camper Jam, Camper Mart is 100% dedicated to all types of Volkswagen Campers and their fans.
Kick-start the New Year buying accessories for your pride and joy, or essentials for that long- awaited project in the garage! Seek advice and help from people in the know and meet up with friends to discuss what the year ahead holds for you, your bus and your VW event plans.
Brought together are some of the best VW manufacturers, retailers, traders and faces.
Held at the Telford International Centre, just minutes o the M54 Motorway, Camper Mart is ideally located to attract both traders and visitors, making it a great day out to kick-o the VW New Year.
DUBFREEZE – 19th February – Sta ord – Bingley Hall
Looking Back at DubFreeze 2016
WOW! What a VW show DubFreeze was. Cars and campers everywhere. Records smashed. Saturday camping was massive. Sunday attendance was massive. Club displays impressive. Trade turnout huge. Show and Shine of the highest quality. Sure, we did have a few last minute cancellations due to tech problems and even breakdowns on the way, but we were able to ll (most) of the gaps. Autojumble a-plenty. Weather was kind – hey, it’s always going to be chilly in February, but where was the ice and snow? And the bar on
Saturday night was kept busy from opening until closing time. And everyone was so well behaved and a credit to our VW scene and how we like to do things.
5th March – Harrogate – The Great Yorkshire Show Ground
Spring Dub is an indoor VW show, from old Beetles and camper-vans to the newest street performance cars. This year will see our 5th time at The Great Yorkshire Show Ground and the rst time in the all new Hall 1. We aim to use this new open span hall to create a more prestige look and feel. Every year the standard of VW and VAG vehicles on show has gone up, so we are really excited to see what the new season will bring after your hard work through the winter months.
With the ever expanding and varied traders now applying you will have no trouble nding what you need.
12th March
Telford – The International Centre
Welcome to the UK’s largest Indoor VAG enthusiast’s event, bringing together the Ultimate VW, Audi, Seat & Skoda Show Cars from all over Europe, all under one roof.
25-26th March –
Surrey – Sandown Park
The VolksWorld Show is Europe’s largest air- cooled VW Show. 100’s of show quality cars inside and out, club stands, traders and a whole oor of swapmeet tables is complimented with live music and other VW related entertainment throughout the duration of the show. Why
not come for the weekend and camp, it is the best way to enjoy the show and soak up the atmosphere.
