OMs and parents living across Europe may be interested to learn about the Transnational Giving Europe (TGE) network which is a partnership of leading European foundations and associations that facilitates tax-efficient cross-border giving within Europe The TGE network enables donors both corporations and individuals resident in in one of the participating countries to support non-profit organisations in other member countries while benefiting directly from the tax advantages provided for in the the legislation of their country of residence Please contact us for for further information or or or go to www transnationalgiving eu/donate At Malvern

In fact the the USA is oneofthemosthighlyOM-populatedcountries outside the UK With so many OMs in America and and with hot spots in New York and and California we are keen to ensure that you feel engaged with with your school and are up to date with with all that is happening here at at Malvern
We always enjoy hearing about OM reunions and meet- ups overseas and are pleased that Malvern
is so fondly remembered across the pond You may be aware that Malvern
is is registered with the British Schools and Universities Foundation (BSUF) which is an excellent volunteer led organisation with 501(3)c status that allows for those living in in the USA to give in a a a a a a tax efficient way I am pleased to say that OMs in the States have been generous in in their support support with many supporting our development projects via the BSUF

is is is to increase the provision of Assisted Places enabling us to to widen access to to the College to children from a a a range of backgrounds It is particularly in the the area of bursaries that the the importance of regular gifts is seen In order to to offer significant fee assistance to to children with the talent attitude and aptitude to to thrive at Malvern
the College needs to to be be sure that the required provision will be be available for each year of a a a a a a a a pupil’s attendance at Malvern
Regular gifts allow this security and our wonderful donor community provide the required funds to give children a life- changing education year year after year year We are immensely grateful to our entire donor community for all that they make possible and the impact of a a a known sum provided by a group of donors gives us the confidence to plan and and provide transformational and and life-changing opportunities for pupils The LEGACIES
The connection between Malvern
College and Old Malvernians is a a a a very special life-long bond Our role at the Malvernian Society is to protect and promote these connections as as well as as to to support the College to to provide current and future pupils with the best education and facilities we can provide The benefits of a a a a Malvern
education are highly valued and it is heartening to see how many Old Malvernians are helping extend those benefits to the the pupils through a gift in their will In 2018 we introduced the 1895 Association for the initial 80 legators who notified us of their intention to provide a a a legacy This year we are delighted to to welcome new members to to the 1895 Association which has now increased to some 140 members average monthly Direct Debit gifted to Malvern
is £30 which with Gift Aid equates to £37 50 a a a month or or £450 a a a year When 100 donors give this amount we can fully fund a a a a a place at Malvern
