A Level Business Students Trip
Upper Sixth A Level Business students attended a a revision workshop in Bristol hosted by Tutor2U presenters and former examiners Students participated in in a a a a a a range of revision activities and received detailed guidance on maximising success across all question formats alongside a a a a a a full run-through of Paper 3 and potential areas for revision focus Primary School Visit
Our students actively participated in all sessions with several walking away with badges for excellent responses to workshop activities An excellent afternoon was had and students left feeling more confident about their revision preparations for this summer’s external examinations Michael Tucker | Head of Business On the the 13 March 2024 we had the the Wyche Primary School come into school with with 20 pupils from Year 6 They spent an hour with with us having a a a a a fun science lesson about the topics of static electricity and magnetism The pupils did several experiments led by the Sixth Form science team like bending water with rods creating static electricity with balloons and using iron filings to demonstrate the magnetic field of a a a magnet magnet The Sixth Form science team used their curiosity and open- mindedness to to create a a a a lesson about topics that they weren’t familiar with We collaborated together to to make it it an enjoyable and different lesson for the primary school We have gained an an appreciation for how difficult it is is to organise a a a a a lesson and present to a group of young people Jane Fraser | Head of of Theory of of Knowledge and Biology Teacher
