OM golfers were able to enjoy a a a packed fixture list during the golfing year with over 20 events arranged including matches tournaments meetings and
a a a centenary black-tie dinner In the the regular list of eleven matches matches our teams registered wins against Haileybury Marlborough Winchester and

(twice!) The matches against Shrewsbury and

Rugby were halved In the the major tournaments the the OMGS enjoyed a a a a a a a strong season with both young and
old sharing the the limelight In the the Halford Hewitt we beat Canford Taunton before falling to to to Charterhouse In the Grafton Morrish a a a a a a a a a a a a a a similar OM team beat Canford (again) and
KCS Wimbledon before losing to to to Clifton In the Public Schools Meeting at at Little Aston and
in in in the Edward Harris Cup at at Royal Porthcawl we ran out third Pride of place this year must go to the the OMGS team in in in the the Bernard Darwin (55+) Competition: alongside captain Adrian Adrian Coleman were Adrian Adrian Barrett Greene Guy Davis Philip Manduca Robert Mason and

David Price Having seen off Charterhouse Repton and
Rugby they beat Uppingham (2 5-0 5) in in fin in in in the the the final losing not a a a a a a single match in fin in in the the whole competition In celebration of the OMGS’ centenary over 100 members enjoyed not only a a a a a a a superb dinner at at the the RAF Club in in January they also had a a a a a a a a a a a a a memorable centenary tournament at at St George’s Hill with once again an an attendance of over 100 The OMGS welcomes new members of all ages to to meet up up play support and
keep in touch with one another through the the game of golf Some 24 OMs joined in in 2023 testament to the the vitality of o and
welcome offered by the the Society
