No 8 Reunion
Over 150 OMs pupils and staff enjoyed the No 8 Reunion
held on
on
17th September 2022 Memories were made and shared old friendships re-kindled and new ones made and a a a a chorus of laughter rang out throughout the day The Reunion
started with mid-morning coffee and and pastries at No 8 which the the the the OMs loved and and gave them the the the the opportunity to to look round their old House once more It was then off to to Chapel for a a a a a a special service by Rev David Ibbotson before heading to the Gryphon Room for for a a delicious lunch During lunch current HouseM Michelle Nardonne spoke about the the history of the the house house before it became a a a a a a a girls boarding house house The various tales she mentioned were courtesy of of OMs who had written and sent in in in their memories of of what life was was like in in in in No 8 in in in in the the 1950s And it was was certainly clear how much the girls still honour this part of No 8’s history There was also a a a a a a a wonderful speech from Head of House House Millicent Dobson who talked about life in the House House as a a a current pupil Tours of o the the campus were offered following lunch with the the the chance to re-connect and reach out being very much at the the the heart of the day’s proceedings EVENTS
