Transporter Talk No 145
WORKSHOP WALKABOUT continued
Mark had great pleasure in showing me a Fridolin that they have restored to show at Volksworld, I have always fancied one as they remind me of a larger Type 3 Squareback, but they are made from mostly Split and Bay components. He also showed me an imported Brazilian Variant that will shortly have a new home in a museum. The vehicle hasn’t driven a mile and is as it was from the factory production line, still sporting the plastic covers on the seats and door panels!
When visiting the rest of the JK site, it was clear to see that his team is like a family and this helps the team work well together to provide the best possible service they can, ensuring that VW owners enjoy owning and driving their vehicles, using the best quality and value for money products available.
Mark was a founding member of the VWT2OC and therefore the club and its members are
very close to his heart. We discussed some ideas for how JK and the VWT2OC can work together going forward to bring members some exciting bene ts and experiences. There will be more news on these developments in future issues of Transporter Talk once details have been nalised.
If you see Mark and his team at any shows, say hi and introduce yourselves as members of the VWT2OC, they love to chat. They will be having their own show this year over the weekend of June 16th/18th where we will have our own area for club camping (details opposite) and in the meantime, if you need any parts or products for those winter projects, don’t forget to mention the VWT2OC when ordering to obtain your exclusive discount across their range.
