Chapel Prefects
Emergency First Aid at Work Course
This term pupils were given the opportunity to complete an Emergency First Aid course In spite of the requirement to give up

6 hours of of a a a Sunday twenty-two pupils took up
up
up
the offer and thoroughly enjoyed learning these vital first aid skills Skills such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) how to treat a a a a a person who is choking and how to treat burns were learnt throughout the day as well as as how to to assess that a a a a a situation is not going to to put the first aider at at any risk of harm Learning how to to use a a a a a a a a defibrillator was a a a highlight giving everyone a a a sense of security that they would be competent should such a a a situation occur The pupils made sure to to make the the the best of their time and questioned the the the instructor thoroughly who afterwards praised them for their depth of questioning and genuine curiosity He found the groups very rewarding to teach Overall everybody enjoyed the day and hope to demonstrate their first aid skills when needed Enya Nemetschek

The webinars are open to students/artists from across the UK to meet and and and develop our skills and and and ideas in workshops and and and discussion groups led by various artists The programme also offers career advice and portfolio reviews supporting me in in the transition between my A levels to undergraduate study Mwangi Mungai (SH)
