If you will be staying with a host family during your time in the UK you will find additional information in our “Guide to staying with a host family” a copy of which you will be given.
When you first arrive at your school or college it may feel very daunting. Within the boarding house will be the House Master or Mistress and House Assistants or Matrons. If you are living in college Halls of residence there will be staff on hand to help you with any questions that you may have.
We understand that living and studying in another country, away from home should be an exciting time but may also be quite challenging.
If you have any problems or are unsure of where you need to be and when please just ask the house / Hall team – they are there to help you. In addition to the house / Hall team your College Guardians representatives are always happy to help you.
Both College Guardians and the school or college that you are attending want to help you make the most of your time in the UK. It is really important that you contact us if there is anything that you need help, support or advise with.
