Dear Colleagues
This is a very exciting period for Mainstay and I am honoured to be working with such a talented and dedicated team.
I initially joined Mainstay in early 2014 before taking over as Group Managing Director the following year, and since then our industry and the Mainstay business has undergone some dramatic changes.
We have made signi cant progress in many areas of the business but we would not be where we are today without the e orts of our dedicated team. Our company is founded on the quality of our people and our ability to give our customers great service. We have already achieved some excellent improvements with individual departments all making positive changes to improve their areas.
It is clear now that to take Mainstay to the next level of our evolution and to build on the progress we have made, we must align the whole operation and set out
a clear vision.
I am immensely proud of the consistent understanding and application of our values. When I ask any of our sta  what our values are - not only are they known, but most sta  strive to live by them at all times. However,
if I ask colleagues what we are all about, or what it is we do and why we do it, I get many di erent answers.
This document sets out to establish our “Why”. and to clearly outline what we will use to drive all our future decision making, our investments and to form the framework for the targets and objectives that will
be used for every department and every member of sta  moving forward.
I hope you are able to share my excitement at the opportunity that lies ahead and I look forward to working with you all to develop the way in which we all align to make this vision a reality over the next few years.
