EVENTS FOR PREP SCHOOLS
Year 8 Adventure Day
Sunday 21st March 2021
Adventure Day at Malvern College serves two purposes. Firstly, it gives those pupils with confirmed places for September 2021 a fun day packed with a whole range of activities from abseiling the turrets of Main Building to manoeuvring a Discovery Range Rover using human power only. These fun activities help Year 8’s meet fellow future pupils and also tests many essential soft skills; Communication, organisational, team working, problem- solving, adaptability and of course a can-do attitude.
Adventure Day is also the perfect opportunity for Year 8’s who are as yet undecided about which senior school to choose. There will be lots of staff around to talk with parents and answer questions about any aspect of Malvern College.
Parents are welcome to stay and enjoy some hospitality, read the Sunday Papers or explore the surrounding area.

Complementary Marketing Masterclass for Prep Schools
Re-scheduled for 2021 -
Dates to be announced in due course
Join us at Malvern College and hear from Mungo Dunnett on how he believes marketing by Prep Schools can be carried out more effectively.
During this 90 min session Mungo will cover:
• Purchase Decisions: How parents actually buy private education
• The consideration set: identifying your school’s real battleground, and gathering the information to allow for a focused marketing strategy
• Wasting money: the activities that schools and their marketing suppliers utilise, and why many activities that work in other sectors will not work in schools
• Social media: how it really works, and which elements schools should be using (and not)
• The challenge of marketing to marketing-savvy parents
Delegates will leave armed and inspired with hints and tips and a clearer understanding of how to better spend their marketing budgets, through a better perception of the competitive landscape, effective targeting and consistent, engaging communications.
This is a free to attend event and lunch and refreshments are included.
