THE AGM 2016
Following the 2016 Annual General Meeting, Club Secretary Maggie Ward has summarised some of the main points raised.
MAGAZINE
• Jon Dyer will still be organising and helping with handover to the new editor.
• The last magazine TT142 was published by a professional person.
• Needs more content from members.
VALUATIONS
• Mike Tout our Valuations Manager has not been co-operative with the rest of the committee. Hopefully this will soon be resolved.
MEMBERSHIP REPORT
• The club had 578 members as of October 2014.
• The club had 695 members as of October 2015.
• The club has 750 members as of September 2016.
TREASURERS REPORT
• Ta Hart the club’s Treasurer was unable to attend the meeting.
• Financial report for 2014/2015 emailed by Ta for AGM handed to members.
MOVING CLUB FORWARD
• A lot of the older members have now left the club and we now have a new generation who use Facebook, Twitter etc to communicate.
• Val suggested members should get together for local meetings in their area.
AOB
• Christie is standing down from her role as chairman.
• Malcolm is taking over.
• Malcolm proposed that Christie should take the
role as president and she accepted.
We hope to see as many members as possible at the 2017 AGM.
