Please be aware of this con that is currently doing the rounds:
You receive an email from a distraught Bride or normally a friend of a Bride. She has been let down by a friend who was transporting her to her wedding in a Type 2. They pull on the heart strings and get someone to turn up out of the kindness of their heart.
In fact, it’s a con. Money changes hands to a third party purporting to be a friend when they are actually an agent, getting the van owner to do the job for free but charging the wedding party. It also happens for proms, christenings etc. BE WARNED and do not reply to these bogus emails. Also important to point out that even if it was genuine, you could end up on the end of a law suit if you arrived late etc so check with insurers before doing anyone a favour.

What a beauty indeed, Sophie our Co-Editor also spotted this at the RHS Flower Show at Chatsworth, so it’s certainly doing the rounds and getting some miles in!
