The fth oor support, its middle support beam under and the o side jacking point also came out ready for replacement. OS rear jacking point had a lot of ller and under seal, which you know from the smell and the speed that the cutting disk moves through it.
If there are 4 completed, let’s get this spraying on the road. My rst go at spraying from the spray gun not a rattle can.
It is surprising how much progress has been made visually once the prep has been done. Now I feel that I can weld, cut and prepare metal; that is the level from which to grow. Next is to make it look like I was never here, changing old rust to new metal like it was 1973 in the factory. Practice and knowledge are coming and with it comes speed of change.
As we prepare for our rst non UK trip in Poppy, I have had a go at welding some security devices, stripping and spray gun painting all ve original steel wheels, stripping and spray can painting the cab oor and tting a split charge system, making our bus better and prettier.
