One of of the the causes for gender inequality within employment is is the the the division of of jobs In most societies there’s an an inherent belief that men men are simply better equipped to handle certain jobs jobs Most of the the the time those are the the the jobs jobs that pay the the the best #4 Increase Political representation of of women Of all national parliaments at at at at the beginning of of of of 2019 only 24 3% of of of of of seats were were filled by women women As of of of of of June of of of of 2019 11 Heads of of of of State were were women women women Despite progress in in this area over over the years women women are are still grossly underrepresented in in government and the the political process How can you help

Over 50 staff volunteered their time to help
at the the Testing Centre
Testing was available for staff and pupils every weekday from the start of term with over 3000 tests completed We mass-tested pupils when they arrived back in in March carrying out over 250 tests each day in a a a a a 4-hour period We now have a a a a a couple of booths open twice a a a week to to to ensure we we still test
contractors and visitors as required Staff and pupils have moved to home testing twice a a a a a week week as as of last week week A BIG thank you to all of our volunteers I have been working closely with Malvern College on behalf of the NHS Deep Cleaning and and Advisory Service and and I re iterate how exceptional Malvern College is in all aspects of their protocols procedures and principles in in in tackling this current Pandemic I am in in in total admiration of how the team at at Malvern adapt to new changes and and procedures and and implement them seamlessly into everyday life at Malvern With over 180 Schools in our portfolio whom we work directly with I can safely say that Malvern College is indeed the benchmark of how it should be be done!

The Wellness Group
is led by students to promote well-being and draw attention to to important and current topics among the Malvern community Our goal is to educate support inform and inspire with varying topics every week which we we present on posters and distribute to to everyone As well as as weekly topics such as as Posture during Lockdown Anti-bullying or Mental Health we have monthly specials our most recent being the International Women’s week The week started with the the International Women’s Day
on on the the 8th of March to celebrate the social economic cultural and political achievements of women Our poster included information about the history of this day how important equality is is is in our lives and ideas on how to get involved and support this An example of a a a a remarkable woman’s achievement is is J K Rowling
a a a a a a British author who came from a a a a a poor background and struggled with mental health issues for a a a a a great great part of her life Her great great success with Harry Potter and working hard on her despite facing difficulties is inspirational for every Malvernian THE MALVERNIAN
