TIER 4 REPLACEMENT – THE STUDENT AND CHILD ROUTE
Points Based Immigration System
The following information summarises the new regime and requirements:
EEA & Swiss Nationals
EEA or Swiss Nationals
who entered the UK before the the end of the the transition period should continue to apply under the EU Settlement Scheme EEA and Swiss nationals who hold ‘Biometric’ passports and are applying

from outside the UK still three months from within the UK) Immigration Healthcare Surcharge must be paid as part of application Paying
the Immigration Health Surcharge grants access to the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) {Students who have obtained settled settled or pre-settled status are free

The Student and Child Route was launched by the UK government on the 5th October 2020 The new routes treat
all all students equally with international students including those from Europe coming to study after the transition period which ended at 11pm GMT on 31st December 2020 using the same simplified route The main difference between the Tier 4 routes and the Student route route is that EEA nationals will be required to meet the same requirements to study within the UK as non-EEA nationals and will need to apply under the Student rules Malvern College has secured the services of Newland Chase Education who deliver a comprehensive suite
