Arrival and Arrangements
For Day Pupils
Day pupils should arrive on on Monday 7th September We will probably arrange ‘staggered’ start times on the morning of Monday 7th between 8 00am and 9 00am and we will request that pupils from different year groups are are dropped off in different areas This is is to to to avoid too many people crowding into one place at any one time Details will be issued in early August ■ Day pupils will not be allowed to enter boarding accommodation Part-time boarders will only be allowed to enter on the the nights that they are boarding ■ Children who are are usually day pupils are are very welcome to to board but they should commit to to boarding on regular nights so that we can plan for them to be part of an appropriate ‘household’ ■ Any day pupil or non-resident member of staff showing symptoms will be required to to go home to isolate ■ We expect that they will be be able to be be tested quickly We hope to have testing kits at school for use with our boarders and we we hope that we we would be able to to provide these to to families of day children also if needed ■ If the child with symptoms proves to to be negative then they they can return to school as as soon as as they they feel well ■ If a child proves to be positive then they must isolate at at home for a a a a period of 7 days We will contact our local health protection team and inform them of people who the the infected individual has been in close contact with and these individuals would need to isolate for 14 days 7
