In the meantime, we created a spinning decorative steering wheel disc that was fitted to Olivia for her 2024 tour
But....It didn't stop there...As per usual, other ideas about what to place on the CD disc, started to be discussed. This is where the "Wheel of fortune" became a reality.
The previous year, we had also completed a 750-mile UK tour and several short breaks away, sometimes with the assistance from a friendly AA recovery man.
Can you see where this is now going.... After another search through old CD's and DVD's, one more was selected. This followed by some more creativity with the aid of a Microsoft package on the laptop which then produced our idea of what the wheel of fortune should say. Then, of course, all we had to do was to cut it out and stick this to the CD. One more step left now, to print and stick an arrow to the steering wheel. Exciting stuff eh...
Our designs and the development of discs
The moment of truth, before our next journey in Olivia...Spin the wheel of fortune and see what's going to happen. Will we get there?
Ok, I have to be honest here... If we don't like the first result, we spin it again ...But it's always fun...
Asking someone you may have met at the campsite or your friends travelling with you, to spin the wheel of fortune as you say goodbye at the end of your stay also raises a smile...
It's all about having some fun and creating something from re purposed materials too.
There you go, a must have fun gadget for every T2 ...Made in the UK (not China)
