Club Chairman reports:
I am deeply saddened to announce the passing of Bob Ward, who was a member of the management team from autumn 2011 and a member of the club from March 2006. Bob’s wife Maggie has been the club secretary since summer 2011 and I send condolences to Maggie and her family from Val and I, the management team and all club members.
With a mug of tea in hand and music playing loud.
Ginger his beloved VW Campervan parked beneath the stars,
Brucie the rottie, and Parker the parrot standing proud.
Birds, ducks and swans still gather where he sat on his bench looking over the river,
A friend of all things wild and good. We all miss him loads x
