ACTIVITY 2: CONTINUED Woodwork
Calling all all aspiring DM scholars and those who love to make things out of wood Wood is a a a wonderful material to work
with The smell of freshly sawn oak and the satisfaction of having produced something with your
own hands and and traditional woodworking tools is hard to to beat We will each start by making a a a beautifully polished jewellery box from oak and there will be opportunities to personalise your
design The next project may be something more adventurous!

ACTIVITY 3: OPTIONS
Orchestra
Currently only open to the Senior bubble but as soon as as particular covid restrictions have eased this will be open to all musicians at school To join this activity you need to learn an orchestral instrument (Strings Woodwind Brass or Percussion) already and be able to read music to a a a a Grade 1 level or above We will be be learning a a number of of pieces of of music ready to to perform to to the school community at the end of term Orchestra
takes commitment and patience as we prepare our
music for performance Orchestra
is a a a a very rewarding part of learning a a a a musical instrument and it is also a a a a a great strength for anyone considering attempting a a a music scholarship in the future! I would encourage every musician in in the Senior Bubble to join up The Apprentice

Do you have what it takes to make money?
From creating a a a product to marketing and delivery we will learn the basic skills for getting a a product to market Any money made will be donated to a a a local charity Take up the Challenge!

Senior Bushcraft

Do you want to explore remote areas of the school’s woodland and and help create a a a a new ‘remote outdoor classroom’ learning space
or shelter? You will also learn a a a a variety of construction techniques and to use an an array of different tools During this single slot you will help plan and create a a a a a new addition to the school’s exciting Outdoor Education provision To help support this exciting activity we will have the support of a a a local expert!
