Research into UK Universities and Courses
With Upper Sixth pupils getting their offers from UK universities Mr Thurlow (Head of the Careers and HE Department) will be working with all Lower Sixth pupils in the the 2nd half of the the Lent Term to show them how best to to use their Unifrog accounts to to start the the the application process and and research UK universities and and their courses In the the Summer Term Malvern will also be holding its annual UK University Fair in in May and UCAS Workshop in in June Lower Sixth pupils will then be in a a a a strong position to draft their Personal Statements over the the summer holidays and be ready to send off their applications in October and November If Lower Sixth pupils wished to do some more research before then Mr Thurlow recommended the UK Universities and Apprenticeship Search Virtual Fair with its 10 live and highly informative webinars held on 27th January He also sent them the the following links with information about on-line Open Days Taster Courses

We are also extremely pleased that with offers still coming in in our Upper Sixth pupils so far have 84 offers from Russell Group and other top UK universities including Imperial College University College College and King’s College College London Bath Bristol Durham Loughborough Manchester St Andrews and Warwick Fifty-one applicants are currently awaiting responses from LSE (London School of Economics & Political Science) and Edinburgh In addition several of our Upper Sixth are waiting to hear about applications to to the top US universities and one Jojo Baldota has received an early decision offer of of a a a a a a place at Columbia University Mr Richard Thurlow Head of the Careers and HE Department 4 THE MALVERNIAN
