   Your first week
at Malvern College
Sunday
When you arrive at the College on Sunday you will meet other new pupils from your House as well as your House team. This is a great time to ask lots of questions. You will also meet your Tutor and hear a short address from the Headmaster.
Monday - Saturday
During your first week, you will be attending lots of different talks by members of staff and pupils. FY day pupils will also be boarding in the House for the first week. We will give you your timetable and show you where all the classrooms and facilities are. One of the highlights of the first week is the Foundation Year (FY) walk on the Malvern Hills with your Tutor and tutor group followed by a BBQ. You will also
get to meet the Head of Lower and Senior School as well as the Head of Music, Sport, Drama and Technology.
Weekends at Malvern
On Saturdays, we have lessons in the morning followed by sports fixtures in the afternoon. Rugby, hockey, cricket, football, swimming, yoga, basketball, squash, rackets and badminton are just a few.
Sundays are equally busy with many events taking place. You may be involved in a trip to our cottage in Wales,
Cwm LLwch with your House, or attending a House Charity fun event or going out for a meal with your Tutor. There are many interHouse competitions including football, music, drama, hockey, debating, reading and chemistry; the list really is quite endless.
The first term at Malvern will fly by and before you know it you will be at leave out weekend at the end of September and you will have made many new friends and tried many new activities.
