ACTIVITY 2: OPTIONS
Cricket Nets
This will be a a chance to fine tune cricket techniques in the outdoor nets area We will make use of the bowling machine and slip cradle to sharpen up all skills ready for competitive action Stable Management and Horse Riding*£
Pupils will start with Stable Management which will include learning how to tie
a a a pony up leading grooming cleaning tack plaiting the mane and tail picking
a a pony’s foot up picking
it out washing a a pony’s tail etc This will be followed by a a riding session consisting of preparing for a a a a dressage test hacking around the school grounds and jumping lessons The final Saturday morning will be a a a a a Dressage Test morning where we will bring in in in a guest judge and rosettes will be awarded This is is a a double activity slot for those who can’t get enough of horses and there will be a a charge of £15 per pupil for this extended double session WHO?
