On Saturday a a a a a team of 9 RAF
Cadets competed in in the mini– Regional Air Squadron Trophy The competition was designed to test each team’s knowledge of the the RAF
and the the various airframes it operates There were also kinetic stands with with a a a a a a realistic first aid scenario with with the cadets being subjected to to a a a a a realistic simulation involving actors fake blood and disorientating noise A drill test saw the cadets demonstrate discipline teamwork and and and cohesion as as well as as good command and and and control by Flight Sergeant Harriet Francis Shooting and and Command Tasks also saw the the cadets being challenged but once again they rose to the the the occasion Despite strong competition from the the the other teams Malvern finished third and won the shooting with LCpl Sasinipa Namsapcharoen (Korya) winning the best overall shot Congratulations to to those cadets who took part:

Thank you to Pilot Officer Straw for organising the event CCF – Military Skills Weekend
Over the the weekend a a a team of 6 girls and 2
boys from the the Army Section of the the CCF competed in the the Brigade Military Skills Competition Impressively led by team team captain Sgt Isabelle Wilson the team team took on two full days of challenges varying from Command Tasks and and a a a a a a a (dramatic!) Battle First Aid scenario to Target Shooting and Navigation The team worked exceptionally well together and narrowly missed out on on a a a a a a medal having won the Military Knowledge stand and and coming second the in all-important Section Attack and and Navigation stands Very well done to Issy Wilson Nadja Mezhibovskaya Julika Greiner Riyanna Ryan Felix Hancock Mia Hawthorne George Perry
