Travel for Boarding Pupils and i-gtm
The College has strict regulations imposed on on it by the the UK UK Home Office and and the the UK UK Visas and and Immigrations Service (UKVI) We are subject
to inspection by UKVI at any time announced or or unannounced Inspectors focus on the College’s records of pupil travel arrangements for school holidays Half Terms and Leave Outs There are regulatory information requirements for all boarders regardless of nationality or or place of residence outside term time That is why we insist on on the use of i-gtm
and strongly encourage travel with GTMatrix i-gtm
is web-based bespoke software designed capture all the information needed for for safeguarding and UKVI compliance purposes i-gtm

using your iSAMS Parent Portal credentials There is a a link to i-gtm

The system will capture anything from a a a simple notification that you will be collecting your child(ren) by car to complex multi-stage journeys that may include walking taxi travel coaches trains international flights etc All boarders will need entries for each holiday (one for for the the beginning and one one for for the the end) regardless of whether they are using school coaches taxis or or other GT Matrix organised transport The system links to to iSAMS and to to train taxi and flight databases The system will email you reminders when it is time to supply travel and whereabouts details but you can also book well ahead Parents guardians and authorised College staff can all enter travel details but parents will always receive an email detailing exactly what has been booked with a a a a a link which you will need to to follow to to authorise the entry A member of House staff will also look at the the entry and authorise it once they are happy with the arrangements Each main travel day is is is listed clearly by the the system but there is is is also the facility to enter details for a a a a a “non-travel day” in exceptional circumstances such as a a a a a delayed return due to a a a a hospital appointment 18
