What is your your favourite memory from your your time at at Abberley Hall?
Oh my goodness so many! I think everything from playing rugby in in in in in in in South Africa to winning the gardening competition when we had our own allotments I I I also used to love Speech Day as as I I I think I I I was quite good at it! Although I I think to to top all of that would have been working with Hux and Joe in in in the Design Department as I I feel that without them I I wouldn’t be doing doing what I’m doing doing now They encouraged me to make things with with my hands and and made me me understand that to to be be successful didn’t mean to to be be academic which as a a a a a a a a a dyslexic truly helped What did an Abberley education teach you?
It taught me that anything is possible with the right people around you you to help support you you Boarding from such a a a a a a young age it also taught me resilience and how to make my own bed!
What have you been up to since leaving Abberley?
After Abberley I went onto Gordonstoun and then to to to the the the RAC in in in Cirencester Since graduating at at the the the age of 21 I I entered the classic classic car industry where I I learnt how to build and and fabricate classic classic Jaguars and and Ferraris as as as an an an apprentice In August 2021 I I started my own classic Jaguar restoration and servicing workshop which now less than a a a a a a a a a a a year later has three full-time employees and and an an an an apprentice and and we currently have 17 cars in build with us totalling a a number of of millions of of pounds 29
