The SIA Approved Contractor Scheme gives your organisation the opportunity to distinguish itself as one of the best providers of private security services in the UK. Becoming an approved contractor also offers valuable operational advantages: our company could get special dispensation to deploy security staff while their licence applications are being processed. In addition, we can benefit from our Licence Assist and Licence Management services, which give you greater control over the licensing process.

Update from Joanne Belcher BICSc training (British Institute of Cleaning Science).
Given all of our new ways of working within 2020 we wanted to further professionalise the way we provide cleaning across the sites for DLG. Rowena Butterworth, Kirsty Beale and myself are now all trained as assessors to the BICSc industry standard which is a really exciting place to be.
This will allow all of our cleaners to undergo training and an assessment to then hold a qualification of the British institute cleaning sciences. Training is being planned for all of our teams in 2021. Licence Assist and Licence Management
Licence Assist and Licence Management
The Licence Assist and Licence Management services give us greater control over the licensing of our staff; for example by allowing us to pay for applications online on behalf of employees.
Licence Dispensation
As an approved contractor, we are also given special dispensation to deploy security staff while their licence applications are being processed. This helps us to achieve greater flexibility and improved management of operational costs.
