Your Lease
Your lease contains covenants and responsibilities that apply to all owners, tenants, residents and visitors. They are intended to enable residents to live in a comfortable, safe and friendly community and maintain the high standard of the building and communal areas. Some are below, but please check your lease for the full listing.
Repair: Maintain the apartment in good and substantial repair at all times.
Smoking: Not to smoke in any part of the South Gardens Estate (except your own apartment).
Balcony: To ensure any items on the balcony are secured or safely stored.
Planting: Not to place any planter on the balcony without written consent.
External: No television aerial or satellite dish to be erected or kept on the outside of the building.
Does each apartment have an allocated car bay?
Parking spaces are only allocated to those residents who purchased a space with their property. For current
information about parking in the surrounding area you should refer to Southwark Council.

Can I have pets / dogs?
Pet ownership is permitted at South Gardens, subject to prior consent. Please collect a consent form from the Concierge.
Are barbeques permitted?
Barbeques are not permitted. The management team work to protect all residents and must consider the potential serious re risk posed by barbeques.
Where can I store bikes?
South Gardens has a locked storage area for bicycles. The store has a secure door which is operated by the same key fob that opens other building doors.
