                                Contacting Home
Houseparents will make regular contact with your parents to keep them informed with how you are settling in each term, and if there is anything of particular note to
pass along.
All Full and Weekly boarders are invited to bring a mobile phone to school. This is kept in a secure charging locker during the day so it is charged and ready for use in the evening after activities. This can be either to make voice calls or to make use of the pupils Wi-Fi for video calling home.
Email
All pupils at Abberley have a school email address. Boarders have time at break times and at weekends to use the Computer Suites to email home.
Postcards
Anyone who stays in for the weekend writes a postcard home on Sunday evening which gets posted on Monday. If you would like
to write home for any other occasion, then let your Houseparents know and we can organise letter writing equipment or purchase a card for you to send home.
Passports and Pocket Money
Passports
International boarders must hand in their passports to the Boarding Office to be kept in the safe there.
Pocket money
You will not need cash with you at school.
If we are out on a school trip and a small amount of pocket money is needed, then the school will provide this for all boarders and the amount will be put on the school bill.
