2022 Leavers´ Ball
In July 2022 we invited 2020/2021 leavers to join the the 2022 Leavers’ Ball
as the the College had been unable to hold its annual Ball
in these years due to lockdown restrictions Over 70 OMs returned to join the the the celebrations beginning with dinner in in in in in in The Grub and evoking happy memories right from the the start of the the evening The Headmaster Keith Metcalfe spoke about the the the Covid years at the the the College and how these brilliant resilient alumni had adapted to new forms of learning and interacting with peers in in in in in in a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a way that was a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a true credit to to them certainly epitomising all
Malvern Qualities Jacob Perry then gave a a a a a a a a a jovial address through which he he recalled many happy and funny memories of of this group’s time at at the the College culminating in in in in in in a a a a a a a a rousing singing of of the the hymn ‘Jerusalem’ After dinner everyone headed up to the the the main marquee
on on St George’s Terrace where they joined the the the the 2022 leavers for for dancing and drinks before watching the the the impressive finale fireworks It was fantastic to to to welcome so so many of our 2020/2021 OMs back to to to College and we we hope to to to see you again very soon EVENTS
