High Level Dusting
Assemble equipment: Extendible pole or feather duster- wearing gloves High level dusting dusting is done in in in the same way as damp dusting dusting but an extension pole is required to reach the areas DO NOT stand on anything to carry out dusting  Place the the the feather duster inside the the the extension pole head ensuring a a a a secure and firm fit to avoid falls from height  Start cleaning from the highest point down being mindful
not to stand directly underneath where you are removing dust dust or cobwebs from In severely dusty areas please where goggles to avoid contamination in in the eyes If contact is mad lease use the the eyewash in the the site first aid kit immediately If irritation continues please seek medical attention  Remove disposable gloves and and wash hands thoroughly  Return equipment to the cleaning cupboard and ensure it’s
clean dry and safely stored Cleaning of Wash rooms and Toilets
Assemble equipment: Red mop bucket red damp dusting bucket red mop mop handle clean mop mop head wash room cleaner cleaner and toilet cleaner cleaner Hazard signs gloves  Before starting to clean run all taps for for at least 5 minutes  Fill buckets with water  Put mop mop head onto mop mop handle  Put out hazard signs at entrances  Put on disposable gloves  Pull flush of toilet to to ensure clean water in base  Using the toilet brush push water backwards down the the U-bend to reduce the the amount of water in pan  Spray around the the the rim and bowl of the the the toilet with the the the toilet cleaner and leave to to activate for a a a a a a few minutes This also applies to cleaning urinals:
 Damp dust walls/tiles starting from the the highest point to the the lowest point using yellow damp dusting cloth  Damp dust all surfaces fixtures and fittings including doors and and door handles Yellow cloth  Spray inside of sink and leave to activate for a a a a a a few minutes  Using a a a a green scouring pad and yellow cloth clean sink removing all residue and stains  Clean under sink with yellow cloth  Spray mirror with glass cleaner  Using a a a yellow microfibre rub chemical into glass  Buff with a a a yellow cloth or centre-feed to remove any smears  Clean inside toilet toilet bowl with toilet toilet brush  Dampen the yellow cloth with chemical and wipe flush handle toilet seat base and and rim  Pull flush cleaning toilet brush and holder in in in the running
water dry holder  Pull flush again  Empty bin and clean frame  Mop floor with Red bucket and and mop handle  Remove disposable gloves and and apron and and wash hands thoroughly  Clean out all buckets and dry thoroughly
