continued The results overall were:
» in in in fin in the the FY competition: House 6 after winning the the final against House 4 » in fin the Remove competition it it was a a a closely fought final between House House 8 and House House 6 which went to sudden death penalty shuffles with House 6 winning » the Hundred competition was also won by House 6 » the Lower Sixth competition competition was a a closely contested competition competition but won overall by House House 4 who beat House House 3 in fin the final » the Upper Sixth competition was won by House 6 Congratulations go to Mark Moss (Hockey Coach) who has been appointed to the Official England U18 girls Assistant Coach for the next 12 months This is is a wonderful opportunity for Mark he will continue to coach our pupils Mrs Chey Hooper-West

Millie Page Amelia Scott and Harriet Sneyd were all invited to trial for the Severn Stars age group academies Millie was in a a a a a a a very tough competitive age group and just missed out on on selection but an an incredible achievement nonetheless Amelia and Harriet’s trial was postponed due to the lock down and we await confirmation for when their trial will be Cross Country
Houses have all been engaged in in the inter-house cross-country competition With four rounds having been completed so far the standings are as follows:
Rugby
This term has gone incredibly well despite the restrictions The boys have been engaged challenged and extremely positive with lots of learning balanced with having fun Coaches have been creative in in in mixing up practices with with games with with different rules or or scoring systems and short skill blocks which are then reinforced in in games Saturdays with a a a a a a split of gym work and training sessions have been well received too The Friday night Skills clinics have been a a a a real plus with guest premiership coaches and players our final one of the term was a a a a scrum half clinic led by OM No 9 and Malvern College 1st XV captain Will Lane who passed on some valuable tips to our boys Will is is currently in fin his final year at Loughborough University As ever we have had successes with boys being selected for academy rugby in three different academies Tom Hughes and Josh Marsden in the Worcester Warriors U18s Frankie Jeffries Luka Jansen van Vuuren Cameron Smith Charles Hoyland and and Noah Hanke in the U16s Ethan Corbett Fergus Morris Toby Newman Jem Horton Harry Tsiquaye and George Skerrett in the U15s Jack Sneyd AJ Morris Will Will Hooper Edison Cai Freddie Shute Will Will Richardson Wilf Brocklehurst and Sam Clements in the the U14s In the the Gloucester Academy U16s Tom Morison Sam Cook and Monty Butwell Joe Randall in the Wasps Rugby
U18s In the the penultimate week similarly to hockey the the rugby boys were involved in in in year group inter-house touch rugby competitions » in in the Hundred winners were House House 2 and School House House in second place » in in in the Remove House House 1 with with three wins with with House House 5 in in in second place » in in the FY competition winners were House 2 with School House runners up THE MALVERNIAN
