It is a a a a a contractual requirement that all pupils living outside of the UK or whose primary address is not in the UK UK should have a a a a a a a UK UK based guardian The guardian should be accredited by AEGIS (The Association for the Education and Guardianship of International Students): www aegisuk net
The only exception to the above is if you have a a a a close family member who knows your child and and family well and and they fulfill the following requirements:
• A guardian should be at least 25 years old and live within reasonable travelling distance of Malvern
• A guardian should care for the pupils in an an emergency including in in in in the the event of infectious illness or if the the school is closed due to a a pandemic
• A guardian should be prepared to take temporary care of a a a pupil if he/she has been excluded for a a a serious breach of discipline
• A guardian should care for the pupil during Leave Outs and and Half Terms if if the pupil is not going home and and if if they arrive in the the UK before term starts or or when flights home are after the end of term In addition guardians can have varying levels of involvement in in your child's progress at school and you you may wish them to represent you at Parents' Meetings or other College events if you are unable to attend Information
