Day Pupils at Malvern College At Malvern College we we welcome the the diversity of of our pupils and the the mix of of boarding and and day day Our day day pupils are are all assigned to a a a a a a a a a a a a a House and and are are as as much a a a a a a a a a a a a a part of that House as the the boarders who live there OUR HOUSES
Our Houses are are the heart of our pastoral care and support systems so it is important that day pupils are integrated into their House and Peer Group as as soon as as they join the the the College As a a a a a result all day pupils are invited to board free of of charge for the first week of of term We encourage parents and pupils to take advantage of this Please be aware though that in most Houses day pupils are accommodated in in temporary sleeping arrangements as there may be be insufficient beds for all all of the the pupils allocated to a a a a House Feedback from pupils shows that they really enjoy this first week experience and life-long friendships are often formed at at this stage Further information on on these arrangements will be provided by the individual Houses nearer to the start of term DAILY ROUTINE
For day day pupils the day day begins with registration at at 8 10am in in their House although some pupils arrive earlier to join Housemates and use use the time before registration to study All meals and snacks are served in the the Houses although the the Sports Complex Café and Tuck Shop (The Grub) also sell hot food snacks and drinks throughout the day From 4 30pm onwards all students are encouraged to participate in the the College’s many clubs and activities till the the end of the school day at 6 00pm Day pupils are welcome to leave at this time Many day pupils choose to stay on after school hours for Hall (for prep or or or homework) and activities with their boarding friends but should be collected from Houses by 9 30pm 34
