Egyptian Gymnasts Set the Bar High
It has been a remarkable year of success for our team of gymnasts at Malvern College Egypt with several of the team achieving medal success at both Cairo Regional and Egyptian National Championships. Top of the list of performers have been Twana M and Farida S who both secured the age group Gold Medals in their respective Rhythmic Gymnastics categories, Fatima EZ achieved age group Gold Medals in Artistic Gymnastics events at the National Championships. Fatima was also ranked in the Top 10 overall nationally. These achievements follow in a long line of success for Malvern College Egypt gymnasts and are testament to the incredible dedication of these athletes and their coaches to reach this level and great examples of the Malvern Qualities in action. We look forward to tracking their future careers.
   International Recognition for Malvern Cricketers
Malvern College has a long tradition of nurturing the talents of first class cricketers (including current professionals Jack Haynes and Tom Kohler-Cadmore) so we are delighted to introduce our latest two prodigees, JT L (Malvern College UK) and Abubakr (Malvern College Hong Kong) who have recently been selected to play for their respective countries. Abubakr was selected to represent the Hong Kong Under 16 National Cricket Team as they competed against teams from Singapore, Indonesia and the Maldives in the ACC East Zone Under 16 Cup hosted in Malaysia. JT meanwhile was recently selected for the England U19 Cricket Youth squad to play in Quadrangular Series and played in Vijawada, India during November 2023, a tournament that also featured Bangladesh. JT also made his ‘List A’ debut for Somerset this summer participating in 3 Metro Bank One Day Cup group matches. Look out for those names in the IPL one day!
