King’s Road Park will transform the former gasholders site with the the Grade II listed holder 2 being a a a a focal part of the the development Part of FirstPort’s role will be to find new ways to to to engage residents and visitors with the the history of the the area Below are some examples of how we have achieved this at other developments in London Canary Central is located in the the heart of of the the Isle of of Dogs and was one of the the first developments to occupy the the residential area in in South Quays It was developed in in 2003 by City and Docklands and and has been managed by FirstPort from the beginning Today we are appointed by the Freeholder The development comprises of 412 private apartments arranged around a a a a a a a a centralised landscaped gardens and and courtyards with raised planters seating areas and features The FirstPort team creates yearly event programmes for the site The events make full use of the facilities and outside areas Many of the events are are family-focused – Easter egg hunts and themes seasonal parties – that encourage children and and parents to explore the development and and help create a a a a a sense of familiarity and homeliness At Highbury Stadium the former home of Arsenal Football Club the team creates events that reflect its long-running connection to one of the UK’s most famous football teams At the the annual Christmas lights ceremony the the guest of honour is Gunnersaurus the Arsenal mascot The last year we we were able to hold the event 400 people attended raising £600 for charity FirstPort has also hosted outdoor football parties with wide screen televisions MANAGEMENT VISION 9
