OM Netball Club Despite Covid wreaking havoc to the start 2021 as as as was the the case in 2020 the the OM netball team did not let this deter them and restarted the the 12-week league at Parsons Green on on Tuesdays The first game game back was a a a a a a a a a a a nail biting 14 14 – 14 14 draw and served as as as an an excellent warm-up for the the games to come The OMs finished the the season fin in in in in in a a a a a a a a a a strong mid-table position winning four games losing five and drawing one Leaving the the the familiar courts of Parsons Green the the the team ventured slightly further south to to to Clapham Junction to to to play on on on on on Mondays where we we faced equally tough opposition and concluded that the the the first day day day of the the the week may not be be the the the best day to play Please get in in in touch with Becky Connell (rsconnell@msn com) if you are are in in in the London area and looking to to play a a a a a a a a a a a a a game of netball any abilities/age/regularity welcome Rebecca Connell OMNC Secretary

The annual Ron Hughes & Keyvan Farmanfarmai Memorial Day passed off very well in in October 2021 with eight OMs meeting up at Moreton Morrell Real Tennis

In November we congratulated our new British British Champion Guy Davies became the the British British Open over-75 squash champion after overcoming the the the No No No 4 No No No 2 and No No No 1 seeds on on on his way to to to to victory in in the the the four-day tournament considered to to to to be the the the third most prestigious squash masters competition in the the world Philip Shaw Hamilton OMCGC Secretary
