for half a a term to complete her IB Visual Arts having been remote learning for the majority of her IB course She is currently studying an art foundation at at St Andrews College Cambridge Next year she has accepted an offer to UCL for History of Art

The Lindsay Arts centre is once again bursting with activity and colour The Foundation Year have been exploring our facilities through print ceramics and now paint responding to the artwork
of Ian Murphy Karen Stamper Rachel Whiteread and Andy Warhol The exam groups have now begun their personal projects each developing a a a a a a a a unique portfolio inspired by their own passions Materials being explored range from plaster paint textiles jewellery and even working with neon These are developing into exciting outcomes and installations The IB Upper Sixth have just completed their final show delivering a a a a a self-curated response to to to to to the chosen topic to to to to to great success We look forward to to to to to being able to to to to to share this work
with a a a a wider audience soon In January we we were able to visit the the Turner Prize and and Coventry Biennial with the the Sixth Form and and and art art scholars delighting in in in in in in in being being out and and experiencing art art in in in in in in in person after so so long being being bound to screens As deadlines approach for for our Hundred and Upper Sixth we are now looking forward seeing the culmination of two years dedicated work
through still unique times and the the opportunity to celebrate their achievements Christine Pritchard
