The Musto sisters Diana 94 and and twins Margaret and and Sylvia almost 91 are are going OK All still living independently in in in in in in England Australia
and and and the the the US Keeping them safe and and and engaged during lockdowns was a a a a a a a a a a a a big challenge but they have all come out smiling Verity Eminton Terrible really that one hasn’t been able to partake in various events however we we we did have a a a a a a a a a a a a a a good summer The owner of our private caravan site allowed us us to to keep
it it it in in in Swanage for nine weeks which saved John towing
it it all the time It only has eight caravans on on on so plenty of space and and and we know everyone I I have never seen Swanage so full full those not going abroad and and and and the the town and and and and beaches were full full So we we we kept well away and and and either walked on on the the the the the hills not very far or or sat on on the the the the the hill hill above the the the the the sea
watching the the world go by So pleased that we could visit the the family family again We had a a a a a a a a a a a full family family get-together in in in September in in in a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a beautiful local Country Park where you can hire a a a a a a a a a a a a BBQ Fortunate with the the the the weather 23 of us us us us and and and and the the the three great grand grand children We were just minus my grandson and and and and his wife who live in in Australia
Jenny Farr Very little social activity to to report due to to her isolation however daughters Elizabeth and Susanna (both Elllerslie Old Girls) are OK Jenny also heard from Gill Charnley (Collins) and and Sue Davies (Hill) otherwise no socialisation just phone calls and and emails A garden keeps Jenny busy growing most of her own
vegetables and and freezing any surplus for winter use Two Jack Russells keep
Jenny active too and and are great companions Gillian Charnley Unfortunately like almost everyone else the last two years have been very very quiet My main interests prior to to the the the pandemic involved theatre trips and and and visits to to museums and and and exhibitions none of of which have been possible I was also in in in the the habit of of meeting up with Ellerslie friends in in in London but the the opportunity to do do this has been been much reduced Instead I’ve been been been very locally based and and and when possible my husband John and and and and I I I I I have been been to our tiny house in in in in in Cornwall I I I I enjoy gardening and and and I’m cheered
by the signs of Spring outside I I I hope that in in in in in 2022 life opens up again for everyone ELLERSLIE
