Living in in in Colorado and and like so many has felt ‘life postponed’ She writes of a a a a a a a a a a a a friend in in in England who had had read that that Colorado has had had serious snow storms recently and reassures everyone that that although it it may be so in in in parts of Colorado it it it is namely in in in in the the mountains Denver and the the plains hadn’t yet received its first measurable snow which is about one one tenth of an an inch “We might
on on on on one one occasion have received that much – big deal!
But our snow shovel is still put away in the garage ”
“The Denver Bronco football games are are still on on but the the scores are are depressing and this year the the team is is going nowhere We personally were very lucky to to have long standing tickets to to the live performance of The Lion King which was was excellent I hope that eventually we we shall get back to to what we we used to to think was was ‘normal’ I am still in in in touch with Verity Eminton (Prideaux) She keeps me me me me informed about some classmates We started on on the the same day at at Hampton MANY years ago All good wishes for for 2022 We all hope for for improvement in the the world situation Pamela Figures All well on on on family front Sandy McCrone (daughter) changed from good good tennis player to good good golfer Now
in New Zealand she is is like her her her grandfather who pre-war played at at Liverpool golf club Sandy Sandy and and and and and and her her her husband are now drawing their pensions but Sandy Sandy is is still working part time as a a a a a a health visitor I am am still in in touch with with Julia Davenport née Scholfield and Pamela Anstey in in in Vancouver both with with memory problems and Helen Scholfield Margaret Appleton is is in in good fettle as as as well as as as Juliet Lees (Douglas) sadly my sister Carole Toovey née Timmis died this year 45
