Dear Friend of Malvern College As I write and reflect on on the the the time since
the the the the last edition of the the the the OM Newsletter it it it is uplifting to think that hopefully the the the Covid-19 pandemic may finally be impacting on on us less than it it has done over the last two years or so Certainly it it is most heart-warming to to return to to in-person events and and meetings more more regularly and and and we hope to to be able to to see many more more of our donors and and friends again over the next twelve months We are also hopeful to to be able to to restart our programme of international events later this year In this issue of the the Development
Impact Report I I I want to show you the the the tremendous impact the the the gifts of of our generous donor community are having on on the the pupils of of Malvern College Your unwavering support over these difficult two years has been phenomenal We are extremely proud of how the the the Malvern community has has pulled together and of all all that the the the College has has continued
to achieve in in in challenging circumstances – with your support thank you!
As a a a community we have emerged from
this experience stronger more resilient and ready for our next chapter With a a a a a a a a wonderful young and and energetic leadership team in in place we we are looking ahead to the the next 10 years and and how we we can advance the the the the Malvern College family of schools even further both in in the the the UK and abroad Our governing body has worked hard to establish a a a a a a a a comprehensive new new College Masterplan with plans for exciting new new projects across the campus Our Assisted
Places scheme remains absolutely central to our vision and values You can read more about this scheme on on page 66 As part of the the new Masterplan we we will
be looking at how we we can make the the most of of our our our existing facilities on our our our campus evaluating our our our our ‘Classroom of of the Future’
(how we inspire our our pupils to get maximum value out of their teaching and learning how we further encourage collaboration and optimal use of of learning spaces) We will
also be looking at at at our ‘Centres of of Intellectual and Creative Inspiration’ (how we combine traditional learning with inspiring new facilities that encourage intellectual curiosity co-working and and academic exchange) strengthening our our sports facilities and and developing sustainability in in in the broadest sense across our campus – watch this space!
