Registering with a Doctor
Malvern College Medical Centre offers a a a a 24-hour medical service to pupils during term time This includes travel health advice routine childhood vaccinations and pre- medical examinations for for scuba-diving trips foreign exchanges and university applications The School Doctors offer appointments Monday to to Friday Boarders are automatically registered with the Medical Centre Doctors Day pupils can opt to to register here or

remain with their own Doctor's surgery However they can only be seen in an emergency if they are not registered at New Court Surgery Forms
Please complete all the the sections of the the medical forms and place in in the confidential envelope provided and return in in the pre-paid envelope If you need need any advice on completing the forms or

UK Pupils
All Boarders will be registered with New Court Surgery During holidays if there is a a a need to to see a a a Doctor
your child can be seen at your local Doctor's as a a a a a a Temporary Resident they should ask you to complete a a blue form Please do not complete a a a purple or
or
pink form as as this is is for for registration and therefore your child would be de-registered from New Court Surgery (which is is a lengthy process) Medication required for holidays will be ordered by the Medical Centre Nurses and the supply sent home with the the the pupil If medication runs out during the the the holiday then requests for further supplies can be made by telephoning +44 (0)1684 584042 so that the prescription can be collected from your local pharmacist Day Pupils
Day pupils can remain registered with their own Doctor
It is a a a a parents’/guardians’ responsibility to ensure pupils see their own Doctor
when problems occur Day pupils will only be able to to see the School Doctor
if it is an emergency If Day pupils use New Court Surgery as their surgery they would be able to see the GP
in school Medications brought into school from home should be given to House staff and collected at the the end of the the day Medication should not be carried around in school bags or
left unlocked in studies Vaccinations
