Travel Medicines & Vaccinations
We are able to offer a a a a a a travel vaccination service which includes the following:
• Pre-travel risk assessment
• Preventative advice • Travel vaccinations and anti-malarial prophylaxis
This service is is available to the following pupils who are registered with the College Doctor:
• Pupils
who live abroad and/or are visiting relatives
• Pupils
travelling abroad on holiday to countries where vaccinations are recommended
• Pupils
taking a a a a gap year
• Those involved in in school trips/expeditions to destinations where disease is is prevalent
Apart from any vaccinations which may be necessary it is important that anyone travelling to malarial regions should start anti-malarial prophylaxis
prior to departure and continue for a specified period following return If you you think your child may require vaccinations/anti- malarial tablets for any of the above reasons please email us at at vaccinations@malverncollege org uk or

telephone the Medical Centre at +44 (0)1684 581535 This should be done as as soon as as possible 2 terms prior to travelling as as we need time to assess requirements order vaccines and administer them before departure In some cases vaccinations need to to be be given 4 to to 6 weeks before departure There will be a a a a a a a a charge for anti-malarial tablets and for some vaccines We need to know the following information: • Destination
• Rural or
urban area
• Length of stay
• Type of accommodation
