Financial and
Credit Control Policy
Cash:
The College will not accept cash in in settlement of invoices Company cheques or transfers:
The College reserves the right to refuse payment of invoices from companies or businesses unless they have a a a a a a formal third party agreement with that company or or business for the payment of fees The College also reserves the right to to refuse to to accept payment from a a a a a company account unless it can be demonstrated that the the Parents own 51% or or more of the the company from which the payment is proposed to be made If the the Parents do not own a a controlling interest in in in the the company payment must be accompanied by a a a a a a board minute authorising that that payment and
stating that that at at at at the time of payment the the company was solvent and
that the the payment will not cause the company to become insolvent From third parties:
The College reserves the right to refuse payment from a a third third party party unless there is a a a a a formal third third party party agreement in place for the payment of fees Any agreement with a a a a a a a third party (such as a a a a a a a grandparent) to to pay fees due to to the College does not in itself release Parents from liability if the third party defaults and
does not affect the the operation of the the Contract or any provision of this policy unless an express release has been given in in in writing signed by the Chief Operating Officer 5 PART-PAYMENTS
Any payment to the the College for less than the the full amount due in in in respect of outstanding invoice(s) will be taken as payment on account of the outstanding invoice(s) and

will be applied to the oldest debt in time or split equally across pupils where there is more than one at the the College 6 INSTALMENT ARRANGEMENTS
Payment by instalments is available through our third party provider School Fee Plan Occasionally an agreement by the College to accept payment of of fees by way of of instalments is concessionary and
is only permitted by prior arrangement with the Finance Director Such arrangements will be subject to to a a a a separate agreement between the the Parents and
the the College 7 ADVANCE PAYMENTS
Advance payments will be subject to a a a a a a separate contract between the the College and
the the Parents 8 BURSARIES AND SCHOLARSHIPS
Parents are are referred to the College’s Terms and
Conditions regarding bursary scholarship or exhibition awards (Awards) and
are are reminded that Awards Awards are are not assigned retrospectively In the event that Parents encounter difficulty in in paying fees they are encouraged to notify
the the Finance Director of this at the the earliest opportunity in order that proper consideration of eligibility for an Award in respect of future fees can be given Bursaries are are only retained provided that fees are are settled by the due date unless alternative arrangements have been agreed with the Finance Director in in in writing It should be be noted that an Award is is a a a a a discretionary benefit provided to Parents by the College An Award does not affect the the the legal obligations of the the the Parents under the the the Contract and

distinct from payment of fees under the Contract 10 FEES REVIEWS
Fee levels are usually reviewed during the Lent Term Notification of of the maximum level of of increase will normally be be be given before the the beginning of the the Summer Term The actual fee increase will take effect from the beginning of the the following Autumn Term It may be necessary at other times to increase fees Please see the College’s Terms and
